In-House Tooling
Our facility builds two types of molds both for the manufacture of plastic parts in-house and as a finished mold to be delivered to other plastic manufactures.
The following describes those two main types of mold-manufacturing processes.
Fabricated Tools
These tools are welded together as a mold from multiple pieces of aluminum. Each individual piece is cut from 6061 T-6 1/4″ aluminum that’s made in the USA to ensure precise tolerances. These pieces are then bent, rolled, welded together, polished and otherwise finished to meet your requirements.

CNC-machined Tools
These tools are milled directly as a mold from a single piece of aluminum. They are produced by taking an electronic drawing file and robotically milling a billet of aluminum to exact tolerances.
